Character Information Full Name: Lycaenion Elizabeth Black Nickname: Liz, Lizzie, Cae, Caen, Caeny (Conan) Gender: Female Blood Type: Pure Nationality: English/Irish Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: October 31 Age: 18 Pet: Fionuir (white owl), Celene (Bengal cat) Known Parents: Rebecca Analiese Brantley and Sirius Black Known Siblings: Tristan Matthew Brantley, Rowena Adoree Black, Traci Travers, Pierce Black, Braden Black, Romulus Barre, Kerri Barre
Wand: Oak, 11 inch, Kelpie mane hair Patronus: Wolf Boggart: Dead loved ones
Appearance Elizabeth has a striking level of beauty passed to her through her mother's genes. She is 5'10" with soft curves, sleek black hair that reaches to the tips of her shoulder blades and brilliant silver eyes. Despite any time that she spends outside, Liz’s skin remains a pale tone. She has several piercings including two on each ear lobe, the cartilage on both ears and a navel piercing as well. On the back of her left shoulder blade is a wolf tattoo with several paw prints around it, each bearing the first initial of those closest to her. The words teaghlach, cairde, grá tattooed on her wrist. The words are Irish for family, friends, love.
Personality Unlike most of her family, though mildly similar to how her mother could be, Liz hadn't ever been much of a social person. She only socialized if necessary. She had a small group of friend and the group of family and those were the only ones that she spoke to until later years of school. Liz usually came off as bitchy and as such most people had little to do with her. Because her seventh year started with her being head girl Liz became a bit more social and much less bitchy with other people. Around friends Liz is generally nice enough but she's still got a bit of a short fuse and often ends up in arguments. She lets loose significantly with the involvement of alcohol or Conan and bad things happen when both things are combined. Of all matters of subject, Elizabeth’s favorite is the arts. She loves to dance, sing, draw and anything else of those sorts. She is also an incredibly gifted chaser much like her mother had been.
History When Liz was about two years old, her mother had left her in the play room when she went to do some chores around the house. When Rebecca returned to check on Liz, there was a small wolf sitting in her place. Incidents continued like this for some time, each time she was a different animal. As she grew, it became more and more obvious who Liz took after. She’d inherited her mother’s ability to shift all aspects of her body at will, whether it be turning in to an animal or changing her eye color. With most shifters of their kind, there was one specific animal that she was most connected with, the animal whose traits showed through in her everyday life and that animal was a werewolf, or lycanthrope. Her body, personality and actions changed with the moon cycles though she did not shift during a full moon as a true lycan would.

Character Information Full Name: Tristan Matthew Brantley Nickname: Tris, Pup Gender: Male Blood Type: Pureblood Nationality: English/Irish Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: November 1 Age: 18 Pet: Scathach (black owl) Keiran (Russian blue kitten) Known Parents: Rebecca Analiese Brantley and Sirius Black Known Siblings: Lycaenion Elizabeth Black, Rowena Adoree Black, Pierce Black, Traci Travers, Braden Black, Romulus Barre, Kerri Barre (step)
Appearance Tristan, much like his twin, takes after his mother in most of his looks though they both have black hair and grey eyes. Tristan never lets his hair grow past the top of his neck and keeps it somewhat messy but not overly so. He is 6’2” and a well toned body. He has several tattoos including a bear and a set of paw prints on his back as well as a tongue ring. The words teaghlach, cairde, grá tattooed on his wrist. The words are Irish for family, friends, love.
Personality Tristan is a laid back person, he is very loving and devoted to the people that he cares for. He will stop at nothing to protect the ones that he loves even if that means breaking from his normally gentle demeanor. In normal life, Tristan tends to be more on what most would refer to as the feminine side. He is very caring and will seldom get in to fights or arguments, often letting things slide that other people wouldn't. Very much unlike his father, Tristan had never had any interest in womanizing. On the few occasions that he dated, Tristan was always the epitome of a perfect gentleman. After the ordeal of being cheated on Tristan opted for the simpler path of snogging most everyone that came his way up until he started dating Kerri.

Character Information Full Name: Conan James Connolly Nickname: Con Gender: Male Blood Type: Half-Lycan Nationality: English/Irish Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: June 8 Age: 17 Known Parents: Elizabeth Brea Connolly and Remus Lupin Known Siblings: Breana Elizabeth Lupin & Remus John Lupin Jr.
Wand: Ivy, 11 inch, Unicorn hair. Patronus: Wolf Boggart: Dead Liz
Appearance In appearance, Conan most resembles his father. He is 6’2” with a toned, muscular body due in part to his partial lycanthropy. His dusty blonde hair is a mix between both of his parent but his amber eyes were solely inherited from his father. Across his torso he bears a large scar caused by the claws of Fenrir Greyback. He also has a scar from the bit mark on his elbow and another claw mark on his leg as well as a tattoo of a wolf howling at the moon on his back. The words teaghlach, cairde, grá tattooed on his wrist. The words are Irish for family, friends, love.
Personality Conan is intelligent, eager to learn and immensely caring. He would gladly put his own life on the line to protect those he loves and is very protective of them on a normal basis. He can be very artistic, often spending spare time drawing if he isn’t reading. Conan is very active, spending as much time outside as he can manage. Most of the time Conan could be rather reclusive, though Liz and Kerri both tried and mostly succeeded to get him to talk to more people. Much like his father, Conan is generally a huge pervert, something that both annoys and amuses Liz.
History Conan spent the first thirteen years of his life living in Vancouver, Canada with his mother and god-brother Tristan. The summer he turned fourteen, Brea moved them back to England where he met his father as well as his future fiancée, Liz. His seventh year brought the most excitement with his engagement to Liz, the much awaited engagement of his parents and news that Brea was pregnant with twins.
Roleplaying Sample Conan anxiously paced around the empty house, all of the packed boxes had already been sent off. In a few hours he would be meeting his father and he couldn’t possibly be more nervous than he already was. He’d been told all his life how wonderful a man his father was so logically he shouldn’t have any worries about the man’s reaction. On the other hand, Conan’s father hadn’t seen him since he was a baby and things could have changed. He could now be happily married with a family and not want anything to do with him or Brea. Even still, with all the rumors now circulating about him, Conan, Tristan and Brea had little choice but to relocate. Perhaps England would bring real friends and less ignorant people but one could only hope. Taking a last look out the back window of the rustic home, Conan let out a soft sigh before turning and walking out to the car.
Post by Chantée Potter on Nov 29, 2009 15:21:13 GMT -5
Your Information Name: Megan Age: 18 Where'd you find us?: Started the site
Character Information Full Name: Chantée Liliana Potter Nickname: Chan, Tey Gender: Female Blood Type: Half-blood Nationality: English Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: April 1 Age: 17 Pet: Godric (part Maine Coon kitten) Known Parents: James and Lily Potter Known Siblings: Harry James Potter
Appearance Much like Harry looks like their father, Chantee is a near replica of Lily. Standing at 5’9 1/2, she has richly colored red hair paired with hazel eyes. She has several tattoos representing her friends and family along with both ears pierced. Similar to Liz, Chantee has curves rather than the seemingly popular stick-like figure.
Personality Chantee’s personality takes after both parents. In public Chantee is usually studious, respectful, kind and just. She’ll give just about everyone a chance unless they have done something to someone she cares about, in which case they will probably never gain her forgiveness. With her friends on the other hand, Chantee tends to be wild, outgoing and very rambunctious.
History After the first fall of Voldemort, Chantee grew up separately from Harry. Gifted with a natural talent on the quidditch field and referred to as one of the best chasers the school had seen in a fair while, Chantee joined the team along with Liz and the Weasley twins as soon as they could. She started dating Fred her second year, the pain remaining together through their school years despite more than their fair share of arguing. Once she was old enough, Chantee started apprenticing under Madam Pomfrey in hopes of becoming a healer when she had graduated.
Roleplaying Sample Chantee sat in the girl’s dorm staring out the window. With Harry in the Triwizard Tournament, the spotlight was shining on her as well. Rita Skeeter had started publishing all these horrid stories about Chantee, saying that she was sleeping around and other reputation damaging lies. Most of the school knew better than to believe them but there were still a fair few that bought in to the rumors. Chantee didn’t care either way but these things were published in the Daily Prophet for all to read, including Fred’s mother. Chantee was undeniably certain that the woman hated her. Who could blame her after reading how Chantee was supposedly having an affair with George, Cedric and a few others as well. As she leaned against the window ledge, a few stray tears escaped her eyes. Liz came in and stood next to her with a look that Chantee was fairly certain meant that one word from her and Skeeter wouldn’t be able to write lies again. Chantee merely shook her head before curling up in her soft bed and going to sleep. She would be a true Gryffindor and take it all in stride.
Post by Rowena Black on Nov 29, 2009 15:23:09 GMT -5

Character Information Full Name: Rowena Adorée Black Nickname: Row, Rey, Rowie, Ena Gender: Female Blood Type: Pure Nationality: English/Irish Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: July 31 Age: 15 Known Parents: Rebecca Analiese Brantley and Sirius Black Known Siblings: Lycaenion Elizabeth Black, Tristan Matthew Brantley, Traci Travers, Pierce Black, Romulus Barre, Kerri Barre, Braden Black
Appearance Rowen is 5’8” with dark red hair and hazel eyes. Unlike her sister and Chantee, Rowen has a thinner build and isn't nearly as tall as most of her friends and family. She has both ears pierced once and no tattoos. Rowen’s looks take after Sirius apart from the red hair that none of them have been able to figure out where she got it from.
Personality Rowen is much different than her siblings. Most of the time she is very calm and collected, the voice of reason in her own group. She tends to be shyer and more secluded as well. Despite this, when the time comes she would be one of the first people jumping in to the fray, especially when it comes to the ones she is loyal to.
History After her mother’s murder, Rowen was sent to live with a muggle family, knowing little of her own family until she started Hogwarts. Upon arrival she befriended Harry, Ron and Hermione. After being sorted in to Gryffindor she and Harry met their sisters. As came with the turf of being friends with Harry, Rowen often ended up tagging along on his adventures and getting herself in a fair bit of trouble along the way.
Roleplaying Sample Once again, Rowen found herself sitting in Dumbledore’s office with Harry after another potentially life threatening adventure. She was starting to believe that a year would never go by that they’d finish it off without nearly getting themselves killed. Rowen loved Harry deeply, but eventually their luck was going to run out. Yet again the pair was facing opposite directions and refusing to speak to one another. As per the usual, Harry had gone off on her, Rowen had gone off back and the pair probably wouldn’t speak until the next term. As soon as Dumbledore had finished speaking to them, Rowen rushed from the office and retreated to her dorm to rant to Hermione once again. She was giving up hope that Harry would ever see how much she cared for him.

Character Information Full Name: Rebecca Analiese Brantley Nickname: Becca (by Madelyn), Liese, Ana Gender: Female Blood Type: Pure Nationality: English/Irish Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: November 16 Age: 37 Pet: Beau, Remy, Tygra, Bolt, Cotton, Kimi, Sitka, Nala, etc... Known Parents: Steven and Reba Brantley
Wand: Willow, 13 inch, Chimaera scale and mane hair of a kelpie Patronus: Bear
Appearance Ana is 5’8” with well formed curves thanks to motherhood. She has dark brown hair paired with hazel eyes and a vibrant smile. She has both earlobes pieced and two tattoos, one of a grizzly bear and the other a chain of paw prints with the initials of her children.
Personality Ana has always been a bright and energetic person, that didn’t change after she was brought back. She loves animals and being outside, despite her parents’ wishes that she be the feminine and demure daughter they felt she should be. Ana is a very kind and loving person, devoted and immensely forgiving.
History Ana was born to a wealthy family that thought highly of females behaving as such and men treating women with the utmost respect. Read the rest here!
Roleplaying Sample Ana stood in front of the window of the bridal shop staring in awe at a dress she could see near the back. The strapless gown was stunning with the delicate floral embroidering on the one side as well as the floor length veil made it stand out all the more. The moment she saw the dress Ana knew that this was the dress that she would wear at her wedding, it was her dream dress. Without a second thought, Ana dragged Madelyn inside to try it on. Twirling around in the mirror, Ana adored her reflection as the dress fit like a glove. After she’d changed back to her everyday clothes, she grabbed the dress and the accessories that went with it before paying. Hardly two feet out the door she was already gushing about her find.

Character Information Full Name: Elizabeth Brea Connolly Nickname: Brea Gender: Female Blood Type: Pure Nationality: Irish Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: August 12 Age: 36 Known Parents: Brianna and Rian Connolly
Wand: Ivy, 10 inch, Leprechaun hair
Appearance Brea is nearly 5’9” with wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. She has curves due to being a mother but not as much as the others. She never got any tattoos though both ear lobes are pierced. True to her Irish heritage, Brea has fair skin, though she tans quite well.
Personality Brea is a very compassionate person. She doesn’t care where someone came from or what they are, as long as they’re a good person. She is loving, intelligent and loyal even if means trouble for herself. She will stand by what she believes in no matter what.
History Elizabeth Brea Connolly was born in Ireland to a wealthy and high standing family. Read the rest here!
Roleplaying Sample Brea sat outside her home, lounging on the swing with Remus. The warm summer breeze ruffled their hair and stirred up the refreshing smell of the surrounding Irish hills. The introduction to her parents had gone amazingly well and the pair was surprisingly left by themselves for the better half of the day. Naturally, they’d chosen to spend it snuggling outside. Even if no one else would ever approve of them, as far as Brea was concerned the approval of her parents as more than good enough. When she and Remus got out of school and got married, they would be there and that was what mattered, no one else. They would have their family and their friends. As long as they had each other everything would be fine.

Character Information Full Name: Adin Valencia Prewett Nickname: Adin, Nessa Gender: Female Blood Type: Pure Nationality: English/Irish Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: April 19 Age: 22 Known Parents: Marlene McKinnon and Gideon Prewett Known Siblings: Nadia, Megaera, Mina
Appearance Adin has ruby red hair and emerald colored eyes. She is 5’6 ½” with an athletic build. Using her shifting ability, Adin usually tones down her hair as well as her eyes to keep attention away from her.
Personality Adin is outdoorsy and adventurous as well as very humorous. She is strong willed and can be very vengeful if the situation calls for it. The strongest trait Adin possesses apart from her strength, both physical and otherwise, is her loyalty. There is no end to the level of loyalty that she possesses.
History Both of Adin’s parents were killed when she was still rather young, only six years old or so. From that point on, Nadia and Adin took it upon themselves to care for each other and their other two siblings. Adin kept to herself during school, doing the same when she had graduated. Once graduation came, Adin started traveling, trying her best to avoid the rest of the family as the site of her usually sent her aunt in to tears because she looked so alike to her father. As time passed, and at increasing pressure from her family, Adin began taking a bit more time to spend with family. During one such visit, during a winter holiday, Adin met Dominic Barre. The pair hooked up at the club the group was hanging at and several times after. A few weeks later, Adin discovered that she was pregnant. Dominic opted to stay with her and the pair ended up getting together after her first appointment for the baby.
Roleplaying Sample Adin anxiously sat staring at the vial and sticks in front of her. Since her aunt Molly had suggested earlier that morning that she might be pregnant, Adin had rushed to take not only standard wizarding pregnancy test, but several muggle ones as well. Each test said the same thing, she was in fact pregnant. Her triplets and younger sister Mina all looked at her sympathetically and she understood why. When their mother had been pregnant, the two pregnancies had been strewn with complications, several of them almost killing her. If Adin’s pregnancy was like that, she’d be having the child by May and both would be lucky if it didn’t kill them. The nervousness was now replaced by utter fear at the thought of possibly dying and disgust that she’d probably disappointed her aunt so much. Waving her sisters out of the room, Adin curled up in to a ball under the blankets of her bed and drifted off to sleep.
Post by Kerri Barre on Nov 29, 2009 15:36:45 GMT -5
Your Information Name: Erin Age: 21 Where'd you find us? My Tardis.
Character Information Full Name: Kerri Philomena Barre Gender: Female Blood Type: Pure Nationality: British Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: January 11th Age: 17 Pet: Keiran (grey kitten) and Basil (barn owl, diseased) Known Parents: Madelyn Easom-Barre (deceased) and Richard Barre Known Siblings: Rome Barre, Braden Black (half), Elizabeth Black (step), Rowena Black (step) and Tristan Brantley (step)
Wand: Willow, 13 inch, chimera scale and mane hair of a kelpie (Ana’s wand) Patronus: Bear Boggart: Chimpunk!!
Appearance Kerri is definitely is built like one of the boys. She is about 5’10” (1.78 m), slender, and muscular/toned. She has long blonde hair, brown eyes and is rather fair-skinned. The only major scar Kerri has is one that runs across her torso, obtained in the beginning of her sixth year. She also has two tattoos, a paw print on the back of her neck and a the words teaghlach, cairde, grá on her wrist (Irish for family, friends, love). Typically, Kerri does not care about her appearance and usually doesn’t bother to make herself look somewhat presentable. Normally she would probably look rather unkempt unless there was a particular reason for her to look otherwise.
Personality Kerri has always been one for adventure and finds herself up for most anything. She can be rather stubborn at times and will speak her mind if she finds necessary. She can have a nasty temper, but it takes quite a bit to anger her. Kerri is also a bit of a “tom boy,” having been raised mostly in forest with her father. She is up for getting rough and down and dirty with the boys, and is against most anything too feminine. She is very loyal to her friends, what few of them there are, and will stick by them no matter what.
History Kerri was born into what was supposed to be the “perfect” household and family. Nearly instantly after she was born, she started being raised by her father as her mother was busy with the Ministry. Almost seven years after her birth, her mother just up and left. A strong bond between Kerri and Richard nearly instantly started after that day. The two were obliged to care for one another; Kerri to keep her father out of his manic depression, and Richard to the typical duties of both a father and a mother. A few years later it was time for Kerri to begin attending Hogwarts and Richard ended up giving Kerri an owl named Basil. Shortly after starting, Kerri found herself to be rather on the outs of the rest of the students. Spending most of her time by herself or bickering with other students who came too near, she became quickly attached to Basil as it became her sole companion at school.
The summer before Kerri's sixth year she met Ried Walker, a rather quiet and shy boy on vacation from America. The two dated for a few weeks, though the relationship got broken off the week before it was time for Kerri to return to school. This sent her into a fit of depression similar to her father for that last week and she spent most of the time locked up in her room with a bottle of whiskey.
Kerri's sixth year she met up with the infamous Gryffindor group. They were students she'd always seen around but never bothered to really get to know personally. After quite a few close incidents, Kerri wound up with a scar on her torso from the giant Ravenclaw girl, way too many close encounters, a group of real friends, the best sister she could ask for, an awesome wolfy for a best mate, a fiance and a real set of parents.

Appearance Jamie is about 5’9” with blonde hair (naturally curly), blue eyes, and a curvy figure. She greatly resembles her aunt Lori.
Personality Jamie was always a quirky, trustworthy, and big-hearted person, but recent events seemed to change her personality. She has slowly become the person she never wanted to be: spiteful. The only things that haven’t seemed to change were her nerve and daring antics.
History Jamie had a rough past when she was younger, being raped and abused by her uncle a few times when he was to babysit her. She has let far too much of that impact who is she is today, and has done far too many things she ashamed of. Hogwarts became a bit of a change for Jamie, giving her someplace new where she would finally get away from her family. She seemed to easily make friends her first few years, though most seemed to stray off the older they got. Now she seems to have none, having completely destroyed all chances she had at making friends in her own house.
Roleplaying Example Jamie ran into her room, slamming the door shut behind her. She was glad she finally got out of that defile man’s house. She hated that her parents sent her there nearly weekly and that they never believed a word she would try to tell them about the happenings at his house. Climbing into her bed, she pulled the covers entirely over herself as she sobbed profusely. She knew her parents could hear her, but she didn’t care. Today was the last time she would ever go to her uncle’s house. Today was the last straw. Hearing someone knocking loudly at her door, Jamie peeked her head out to faintly tell them to come in. As soon as she saw it was both of her parents, she burrowed back in the sheets. They wouldn’t listen to her, they never did. After a bit of begging from her mum, Jamie pushed back the covers and sat up. Trying to hold back her sobs and convulsions, she softly began to explain what happened. Her parents remained utterly speechless for a few moments before her father reached out and slapped her for ruining his brother’s good name. Now enranged, Jamie pushed through her parents and ran out of her room before leaving the house entirely. She wasn’t coming back to them, not until they could believe her.

Your Information Name: Erin Age: 21 Where'd you find us? My Tardis.
Character Information Full Name: Adelle Samantha Krol Gender: Female Blood Type: Pure Nationality: British Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: May 3rd Age: 16 Pet: Leta (Boreal owl) Known Parents: Lorna and Ewart
Wand: Vine, 9 ½ inches, hair from a unicorn tail Patronus: Hare Boggart: Failure
Appearance Adelle is a rather petite girl and takes her build from her mother, but her features from her father. She is 5’4” (1.63 m) and very slim. She has long brown hair and grayish blue eyes.
Personality Adelle is a bit socially awkward and clumsy. She may be quiet, but she's never underspoken. She is very polite in almost every situation, and will probably never raise her voice. She prefers to keep to herself and is usually too caught up in her own thoughts, and books, to even notice her surroundings.
History Adelle lived a very sheltered life, starting before she was even born. Her parents always kept her away from anything that wasn’t related to the wizarding world. They heavily monitored what books she was reading, always replacing them with books about magic. It wasn’t until Adelle arrived at Hogwarts and took a Muggle Studies class that she began to learn about the outside world.

Appearance Isaac takes most of his physical traits after his father’s side of the family. He stands a little over six feet tall with a fairly athletic physique. While his muscles aren't bulging they are defined and apparent. His body doesn't carry much fat even though he spends most his free time eating, drinking and lazing about. He generally wears whatever is most comfortable, typically sticking with tees and jeans. Anything dressier is saved for formal occasions.
Similar to his father, Isaac has dark brown hair and dark grey eyes that almost appear brown at times. He usually keeps his hair short, anything too long, especially on the sides, gets in the way. His skin is rather fair, though thanks to his abundance of free time now that he’s graduated, he’s starting to get out more and darken up. However, it’s not getting too noticeable as of yet.
Personality It’s very clear why Isaac was sorted into Ravenclaw when he was a school, he’s undeniably intelligent. He’s always buried in a book when he has any moment to himself. Most of what he reads is non-fiction, pertaining to both the wizarding world and the muggle world. Whenever he has a chance to learn, he takes it. Ask Isaac a question and he typically has an answer. As a general rule, once Isaac reads or learns something, it’s stuck in his mind forever.
Being raised in a pureblood household, even if they didn’t fit the typical norm, Isaac is very well-mannered. He hardly raises his voice and is a generally caring person. More often than not, he becomes a shoulder to lean on for his friends. He doesn’t mind though. He enjoys being the ‘lucky charm’ as some would say or the helping hand. Even if he isn’t always the best at fixing everyone’s personal problems, he can at least give suggestions or lead them right direction. His constant optimist usually gives a boost to his friend’s pessimistic tendencies, even if they do find it extremely annoying.
Isaac is also very fluent in French thanks to his mother. While he was never forced to learn it, he wanted to as a child. It made visiting his family much more fun when they’d take the occasional trip to France. While he doesn’t speak much of it in public, he at least still talks to his mother in her native tongue when he can.
While he generally doesn’t care how he looks or what people think of him, Isaac doesn’t mind that he draws attention to himself. He’s extremely open and doesn’t have much to hide. He’s aware he’s attractive but hasn’t let it go to his head. Though he’ll use it to his advantage when he sees fit, something has turned him a bit promiscuous throughout his teens. If it hadn’t been for one relationship gone bad, most people probably wouldn’t even know that fact about him. But rumors spread and they spread fast.
History Diane and her siblings were the first to attend Hogwarts of their family, the rest, who were mostly females, went to Beauxbaton Academy of Magic. This gave Diane, her older brother and younger sister the opportunity to perfect their English, something that came relatively easy after their first year. It was within the walls of the castle that Diane met Nathan. Nathan was two years younger, but much more mature than many of the other students.
Nathan’s family had always attended Hogwarts and took a lot of pride in the school. Quite a few of their relatives and ancestors had taught there at some point, the most recent being Nathan’s grandfather. While the man was done teaching by the time Nathan and his siblings had started school, it didn’t stop them from bragging and bringing it up to fellow classmates.
Diane and Nathan ended up getting married shortly after Nathan graduated from school. While he was comfortable living in whichever country Diane chose, they settled in England. Nathan took a job at the Ministry in the Department of Mysteries and Diane became a housewife and soon to be mother. The large mansion they’d inherited from relatives was a lot of space to take care of and had plenty of room for their soon to be family to occupy.
Isaac was the elder of two boys to be born to the pureblood parents and it was obvious very early on that he was going to be quite the brainiac. Not long after he was able to walk and talk, Isaac became a very curious tot. He would watch his parents and observe them very closely, getting rather excited by any signs of magic. He was eager to learn and began to constantly beg his mother to show, read, or teach him something new. It didn’t take long before the young boy could read on his own and on an impressive level. Before it was time for him to start school, he’d nearly read every book in the house.
With a little brother coming only two years after Isaac, much of the attention Isaac once adored was lost. He understood that his little brother Vince was a handful, but wished that it didn’t always have to be so. He still got his mother to read to him and teach him now and then, but more often than not it was interrupted by Vince and his antics. As they got older, Vince didn’t lighten up much. He in fact got much worse. While it wasn’t a constant fight for their parents’ attention anymore, Vince took to embarrassing and hurting his brother any way he could muster. A lot of time it included Vince trying to set on Isaac on fire.
Isaac became very independent young. By the time he was of age to start his education at Hogwarts, he was already readily prepared. Some of it was thanks to his parents, but much he had done himself with the obvious shopping aside. He was excited to go off to Hogwarts. He’d heard great things from his family about the school and was looking forward to being away from Vince for months at a time.
It was no surprise Isaac was sorted into Ravenclaw, just like most of the family that preceded him. The Halls generally seemed to be known for their wit and wisdom. Isaac began to flourish in school, even during his first year, excelling in most every class. He was sure a lot of it was due to the edge he probably had on his fellow classmates. Even still, none of the classes seemed to be much of a challenge for him and he received the highest marks at the end of each year.
With each year, Isaac attempted to learn as much as possible, often taking too many classes a term. It never seemed to bother him much. Isaac would rather be busy with classwork than sitting around the common room twiddling his thumbs. If he didn’t have quill to paper he would have his hands on a book. He seemed to spend an awful lot of his time in the library, reading and learning as much as possible. Free time never became a concern to him until his mid to late teens.
Over the course of his forth year, Isaac hit the beginning of his growth spurt and began to mature. While he thought nothing of it much, he started to gather the attention of many of his female classmates. Surely he liked girls but he didn’t see the point in fooling around with them when he had his studies. However that mindset didn’t last too long and by the end of the term Isaac was beginning to give in to hormones and urges and flirting with whoever he could. He was going to take what he could get, even if it wasn’t much more than snogging and fooling around.
As what he assumed was a reward for his grades, dedication and good behavior, Isaac became a prefect his fifth year. With the title came new responsibility. Knowing he would have to be preparing for his OWLs at the end of the year and might be a little busy with his Prefect duties, Isaac cut back a bit on his number of courses for the year. He wanted to ensure he got good grades and wasn’t too overloaded. While he was focused on the upcoming tests, he welcomed the occasional distraction he could get from a female classmate. His efforts paid off as Isaac achieved an OWL in each class.
Isaac’s sixth year wasn’t too different from his previous years. He was again a Prefect and again overloaded himself in courses. He’d nearly reached his full height and grew into most if not all of his features. He was getting out more often, sometimes with friends but usually with a girl. If he wasn’t spending his night in the library he could easily be found in the dorms or an abandoned classroom with his hands in places they shouldn’t be.
Seventh year proved to be by far the most interesting. Not only was he made Head Boy following the first disappearance of Spencer Woods, he managed to make an interesting array of friends. Being in close quarters with Elizabeth Black, the Head Girl at the time, made for them to get rather close. Not only did they work together on school-related things, they’d work together on some of her more personal issues as well. Of course being friends with her meant he had to befriend her crazy Gryffindor clan as well.
Aside from Liz and her friends, Isaac managed to get rather close to a couple of sixth year Hufflepuffs (Adelle Krol and Bridget Quinn) and their Ravenclaw friend (Rebecca Laine) as well. Out of the three, Isaac ended up spending more time with Rebecca even if she was dating a Bradley Betton, a Slytherin. It didn’t take long before Isaac developed feelings for Beks and vice versa. He didn’t approve of Beks’ boyfriend one bit, but knew better than to interfere. If they weren’t meant to be, it would end itself naturally. And it did. After a fight between the two which ended in Bradley slapping Beks, Isaac took her back to his suite to calm her down. A short while later, the two were a pair.
Isaac and Beks’ relationship wasn’t much more than talking that led to sex. It was nice at the beginning, but eventually lost its luster. They got along wonderfully, yet any time they would be together, especially alone, it would always lead to the same thing. It didn’t take long before most communication stopped and their hook-ups became the only thing holding their relationship together. Their relationship wasn’t looking good or holding strong and Isaac managed to do the one thing to ruin it completely, sleep with someone else. He felt bad for what he did, having known he should’ve just ended what was going on with Beks before sleeping with someone else, but couldn’t really change what happened.
Rumors spread like wildfire afterwards, making Isaac go into hiding between classes and being quite the hindrance to his friends. Elizabeth getting a little fed up decided to introduce him to a cousin of hers. After a single date together in Hogsmeade, Isaac and Roxanne hit it off. While still being in school, Isaac didn’t get to see much of Roxanne aside from one or two visits she made to Hogwarts on business. Though it was probably for the better. Isaac got back on track and finished the school year with more outstanding marks.
Isaac had no plans for himself after graduation. He had an opportunity to work with his father at the Ministry, but considering the current state of the wizarding world, Isaac opted to stay at home until he figured things out for himself, though that wasn’t coming easy for him at all. Between visits from Roxanne, which were causing the two to become rather close, he spent most of his time in the mansion reading. Sooner or later he’d end of up back at Hogwarts as a teacher. But for now he was happy to be free of the place.

Your Information Name: Erin Age: 21 Where'd you find us? My Tardis.
Character Information Full Name: Vince Ariel Hall Gender: Male Blood Type: Pure Nationality: British & French Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: October 5th Age: 16 Known Parents: Diane & Nathan Known Siblings: Isaac
Wand: Ivy, 10 inches, dragon heartstring and boomslang venom
Appearance Vince is much smaller than his brother, but definitely not to be underestimated. He doesn’t follow the typical male mold like the rest of his family has for generations. He is 5’7” (1.70 m), has dark brown hair and striking blue eyes.
Personality Completely different from his elder brother, Vince is very loud and disruptive. Even though his appearance is quite misleading, he has a short fiery temper. Typically, Vince is rather “nice” to people upon first meeting them, using the opportunity as a way to gather information. He is extremely nosy and wants to know as much as he possibly can about everyone and everything.
History As Isaac’s younger brother, Vince always seemed to gather a bit more of the family’s attention, mostly due to his need for constant attention and questionable personality. Months after birth, his parents could already tell he was going to be quite a handful. Once Vince got to be a few years old, his mother started to do regular teachings. These proved to be rather difficult given Vince wouldn’t sit still and would typically snatch things and throw them. Around the age five, he picked up his first wand and by fluke set something on fire. After the incident, Diane and Nathan decided Vince should be limited to his exposure to magic until he could be kept under control. That however didn’t last, and he became a bigger pain. Vince started demanding things and throwing tantrums, sometimes shifting into extreme mood swings. The day Vince received his invitation to Hogwarts was an interesting one. Nathan tried to keep the letter hidden from the boy, but his attempts failed. Vince eventually found the letter and was enraged that neither of his parents would let him go. Diane promised he would receive an equal education at home, knowing full well it would be smart and safer if he was kept under watch. However, after four years of begging and pestering, Vince finally got his way and was enrolled at Hogwarts.

Your Information Name: Eloisa Age: 18 Where’d you find us? Erin, I do believe.
Character Information Full Name: Ambre Margot Pascal Gender: Female Blood Type: Pure Nationality: French Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: August 18th Age: 16 Known Parents: Benoite and Edmond Known Siblings: None
Wand: Hazel, 10 ¼ inches, hippogriff talon Patronus: Deer
Appearance Ambre doesn’t seem to hold the typical appearance of the rest of her family, and they always jokingly questioned if she was really their daughter. She is around 5’5” (1.65 m) with brown/red hair, freckles and grayish green eyes. She is fairly thin now, having been slightly overweight as a young child, and strives to maintain as close to a perfect figure as she can.
PB: Emma Stone
Personality Ambre has always been one to excel in whatever she learns and has always been at the top of her class. She can easily whip together nearly anything in any amount of time; she’s known to be very crafty. She speaks fluent French, as it is her native language, and has little problem with English. Ambre is extremely kind, brilliant, and rather playful.
History Ambre’s family has always been of average or middle-class, and was always well-known in their small town of Libourne. She is a transfer student from Beaubuxtons, only forced to change schools when her father was offered a job in London. At her previous school, Ambre wasn’t all that popular but known for her intelligence and grades, something she expected to travel with her.
I’m sorry it’s short, I’ll probably add to it once classes are done with!

Your Information Name: Eloisa Age: 18 Where’d you find us? Erin, I believe.
Character Information Full Name: Liam Flynn Gender: Male Blood Type: Half Nationality: Irish Orientation: Bisexual
Birthdate: March 30th Age: 18 Pet: Oráiste, orange tabby cat Known Parents: Sinead and Fionn
Wand: Alder, 11 ½ inches, Leprechaun hair Patronus: Field mouse Boggart: Death in general, vipers
Appearance Liam is relatively tall, close to 5’11” and has an “average” build. He has dark blonde hair and blue eyes just like his mother. Liam also has a set of scares across his upper back and down part of right arm from an accident when he was younger (though it typically stays hidden by his sleeves).
PB: Shawn Ashmore
Personality Liam is rather shy at first and usually keeps to himself. He can be easily dissuaded by those who seem to be much more talkative and outgoing than he is as well. While he is not the most outgoing person, he does like to meet new people. He is loyal to those he knows and is always honest.
History Liam is an only child and lives with both of his parents (his dad being a muggle). He grew up in a suburb of Dublin, but never found himself to fit in with the other kids. He always found himself quite different, definitely not as loud and as the kids that pleaded to play with him. One day when he was about four five, Liam’s father insisted he go out and play with the other kids. He followed the older bunch to the park down the street and up a rather tall oak tree. Trying to climb back down when he heard his mother’s calls, he slipped and fell, cutting himself on a few branches and bit of broken glass that was near the roots. Much to his mother’s delight, it was discovered at a young age that he would hold powers. After talking things over with his father, they decided to buy a second house in London. They moved into their new house a few weeks before it was time for Liam to board the train and got him quickly prepared for school. His mother and father sent him off in tears, hopeful that he would finally find a place he fit in. Luckily, Liam did find himself to not be on the outs as much with the new group of students. While he remained quiet, he did find a few students he could get along with.
Roleplaying Sample Liam walked back into the house with his aunt, having just taken a trip to Diagon Alley. Setting down the small crate on the floor, a small orange cat struggled to climb out. She took a brief look around the room before standing at Liam’s feet and pawing at his pant leg. Laughing softly, he picked up the kitten and walked over to a chair. He sat down and put the kitten in his lap as he called for his parents. Hopefully they wouldn’t mind that his aunt bought him a kitten as a late birthday present. Smiling as his parents entered, he held out the cat introducing them both to the cat he was sure didn’t understand a word of what he was saying. His parents both seemed to approve of the gift and headed back to the kitchen with his aunt. Looking at the cat he decided it would eventually need a name. Giving it a thought for a while he decided upon the most obvious thing he could think of: Oráiste! Why not name if after it’s color?

Your Information Name: Andrea Age: 23 Where’d you find us? Andrew…
Character Information Full Name: Bradley Jarred Betton Nickname: Brad Gender: Male Blood Type: Muggleborn Nationality: British Birthdate: July 21st Age: 17 Known Parents: Edith and Rodolf Known Siblings: None
Appearance Bradley stands at five foot eleven inches tall with a fairly average build for his age. He has blue-green eyes and a mess of brown hair, which usually looks unkempt unless he’s trying to make an impression.
Personality While Bradley is rather bright, he doesn’t usually take advantage of it. He is generally a nice guy, at least to those whom he likes and cares about, but can get quite the temper when provoked. He generally has a habit of attracting trouble to himself, something he’s getting slightly better at avoiding throughout his last few months of school. Akin to the rest of his house, Bradley is rather sly and cunning, able to sneak around the school and other places unnoticed.
History[/u] Bradley was born to two very wealthy muggles, Edith and Rodolf. Both took much pride in their jobs and income, spoiling their son with nearly everything. The two practically had their son believing everything was obtainable, something that wasn’t necessarily bad in concept. It didn’t take long before Bradley became very used to having everything handed to him and he grew accustomed to the wealthy lifestyle his family bestowed. The idea of becoming heir to the fortune seemed priority to the young boy.
However, everything Bradley believed in suddenly changed when a letter arrived shortly before his eleventh birthday. Not only was he being invited to a school he’d never even heard of, but he was learning something about himself he never knew existed. After a discussion with the staff and the assistance through Diagon Alley to prepare for school, priorities began to change in the boy’s head and he soon became eager to merge into this new life. After the train ride and trip across the lake to Hogwarts, it was time for the sorting. Other students seemed excited; however Bradley remained rather confused about the ordeal. Once his name was called, he made his approach to the stool before being sorted into Slytherin. There were cheers, but it wouldn’t be until later when he learned who his house really was.
After weeks had passed, Bradley found himself not fitting in well with his fellow housemates. Not only did a lot of them already seem prepared and excelling, but there were talks of blood-type being thrown about. It didn’t take long before he caught on that he was definitely in the minority, the minority that was not highly looked upon.
As years passed, Bradley kept his secrets to himself and meshed in with his classmates. Despite visiting home between terms, he could tell he was starting to separate from the life he once had. The lifestyle of his home wasn’t as intriguing anymore. The wealth didn’t seem to have a huge hold over him anymore, not that he now knew better ways to obtain what he needed, and he surely didn’t fit in with his parents. Conversations were difficult as Bradley and his parents lived completely separate lives now, one of the many things that added to prevalent separation.
With only two years left at Hogwarts, Bradley hoped his sixth year would be the one to make a change. And whether it turned out the way he wanted, it was surely different from the previous years. The year started out on a rough patch with Bradley getting in more than a few fights, the majority not ending in his favor. After that, he grew a close relationship with a Ravenclaw of the same year named Rebecca. It didn’t take long before the two started dating, but after she began to disappear the two began to drift apart. They patched things up temporarily to attend the Halloween party together, a party that ended with Bradley hitting Rebecca and the end to their relationship. With the end of the first term, things started toward a normal and upward path.
Nearly months before the end of school, Bradley encountered Katherine, a Hufflepuff a year below him. After running into one another in the entrance hall, the pair sat around to chat, the first of many days the two idly sat around together. It didn’t take long before Bradley asked her on a date. Soon they learned about a connection between their parents and began to share secrets both had kept quiet. The two quickly grew a close bond.
Roleplaying Sample Bradley paced around the hallway, trying to find a good reason to leave the house. His parents demanded he stay for the formal dinner they were hosting, but he knew full well he wouldn’t fit in. A house full of wealthy lawyers and businessmen who would do nothing but talk about figures, statistics and stock didn’t seem like the place Bradley wanted to be. While all this talk was once a familiar thing, something he even understood, it was now all so foreign. He didn’t care about the profit earned last quarter.
Hearing the doorbell, Bradley disappeared into his room and out of sight. After a quick check out the window, he grabbed his cloak and slipped out. He was fairly certain no one would notice he left, let alone go looking for him. Now to go somewhere more entertaining, he thought to himself as he ventured down the street a fair distance before hailing the knight bus.

Character Information Full Name: Patrick Rochus Wyman Nickname: Pat, Patty, Pats, etc. Gender: Male Blood Type: Pure Nationality: British Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: September 29th Age: 17 Known Parents: Heath and Cathryn Known Siblings: Heath Jr. and Annette
Appearance 5'11", dark brown hair and brown eyes. His hair is longer, though he usually keeps it slicked back and out of his eyes.
PB: John Patrick Amedori
Personality Patrick thrives off of school, wanting to get to know as much as he possibly can. He almost always has his face plastered to the page of a book. He is very kind and will help another student if he finds they are in trouble. Patrick tends to stray away from anything too dangerous, being usually too fearful for his own safety and being a bit wiser to stay back.
History Patrick is a cousin of Bradley, but never found himself that close to the boy even though they are both close in age. Infact, they rarely got along and many fights started between the two. Even though Patrick was also raised in a wealthy household (much similar to his cousin), he was taught that there are more important things than just money. Through the expansive library in his house, he quickly developed a love for literature. Having been told stories of Hogwarts since he was a little boy, he always looked forward to the place and was completely enthralled when he received the letter. A few days after starting, he found himself to fit in quite well even though he was a bit quiet. He enjoyed the students, the library, and most of the teachers.
Roleplaying Sample Patrick sat in the library of his own home, enjoying the quiet. He had a stack of his favorite books next to the arm chair he was comfortably sitting in. Listening to the crackling and popping coming from the fire place, he smiled to himself and kicked his feet up on the ottoman. After licking his finger, he turned the page of the old book and a smell of moth balls seemed to arise. Enjoying the scent that seemed to come from old literature, he continued reading for quite some time. After finishing the book he picked up another, spotting his cousin lurking around the corner. Bradley smirked and walked in, making a smarmy comment about Patrick always being into books more than girls. Rolling his eyes, Patrick took the book he has just finished and threw it at Bradley’s head. The boy took the hint and left with a glare, rubbing the throbbing spot on the side of his head. Grinning from success, Patrick went back to his readings.

Character Information Full Name: Ried Oliver Walker Nickname: None Gender: Male Blood Type: Half Nationality: British & American Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: September 9th Age: 17 Pet: None Known Parents: Alexandria Walker (deceased) and Charles Archer Known Siblings: Gabrielle Archer (29) and Alexander Archer (21)
Appearance Ried stands around six feet tall with a thin figure, but strong figure. He his muscular however instead of having all his power in his arms, it’s more in his legs. He has no blemishes or anything on his body, that are visible anyway. After a fight in school he has a large scratch on his back that goes from his rib cage across his spine to the other side of his body. Ried has dark blonde hair which is usually just messy and light brown eyes. The clothes the boy wears are always very simple. When not in the school uniform he’s usually in dark jeans and a t-shirt.
Personality Quidditch and family are the greatest strength of Ried, he is talented at Quidditch even though he doesn't sign up for the team since he doesn't feel like he is good enough for it. He is too self-conscious to try-out or even sign-up. When it comes to family he is always there, he watches out for them and will offer many things to save them. If he can make it happen he will offer it. Including his life.
Books and studying gets Ried down, he is more talented than most when it comes to the arts but books and reading? Oh hell no, he doesn't get very far. He cannot sit and read. It just doesn't work. He can teach himself things through art but not through reading. Even though he cannot read properly due to his lack of interest he does amazing in his practical classes like Transfigurations or Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Ried is difficult, but he’s very accepting when it comes to others. You can be ugly, incredibly unintelligent, vile, ferocious or sinful in any other way, and he won’t judge you much. Not only does this allow him to hang out with the majority of people, it’s also the main trait that makes him remotely likable. He’s not prejudiced or judgmental.
Ried is self-conscious, not in the insecure way, not at all. He simply knows what he is. That’s probably why he hates being criticized so badly; he believes to know all his faults already, having them rubbed in his face is just rude and disrespectful. He knows he’s a cocky, selfish little prick, but he loves himself all the more for his flaws. Hell, he’s even his own muse, with his mind-blowing bone structure, piercing eyes and captivating brain. If it weren’t entirely sick, he’d have a crush on himself.
Ried loves girls, talking to them, befriending them and using them as his muse for his art. He can talk to them for hours and flirt without knowing himself and just leaving it at that. He loves girls.
He doesn't accept the word no. When he wants something, he will literally obsess over it, until he has it in his hands. This doesn't mean he'll treat it well or cherish it, he's simply a greedy little bugger. This goes for people as well. From time to time, he'll label some as his 'muse' and dote over them for a couple of weeks, before ditching them. This fate has already broken several girls' hearts.
History Ried was the last child of Alexandria and Charles, having been raised in England until his parents split at the age of two and he was moved to America with his older brother Alexander and his mother. His older sister Gabrielle would visit every couple of months between terms at Hogwarts. As a child he only visited his father a few times, but it didn’t stop him from loving the man and keeping in contact throughout the years.
Just like his elder brother, Ried attended a muggle elementary school before attending the wizarding school in Salem. Sometime during his second year, he decided he wanted to play Quidditch and started training and playing day in and day out. He wasn’t nearly as talented as his sister, but it was becoming a good hobby. At the age of thirteen he got into a fight in the courtyard of the school, resulting in the scar across his back.
With his sister visiting less and less as Ried got older, he took it upon himself to travel to England during the summers. He knew she was busy with her team but wasn’t going to let that get in the way of how he spent time with his sister. If it meant he would be dragged out shopping, then so be it. The summer before his sixth year, Ried had stumbled into Kerri Barre while he was out with his sister. After Gabrielle abandoned him, he spend the afternoon with the blonde before meeting back up a few days later. After only a week, they started dating and it lasted through most of the summer until an argument broke them up and Ried returned to the states with his mother to go back to school.
One day in late November, Ried was pulled from class and told his mother had been murdered. He was released to return home to his brother, to set up funeral arrangements and to get a hold of his sister. He’d finished up the term before Gabrielle packed him up and moved him back to England to be with their father. He was enrolled in Hogwarts and sorted into Hufflepuff following the winter break.
The rest of year didn’t go too well Ried. Not only did he encounter his ex-girlfriend on numerous occasions, but he also ran into her new boyfriend and friends as well. The group was protective of one another and it was obvious he wasn’t welcome. He’d finished off the rest of year keeping mostly to himself.

Character Information Full Name: Gabrielle Allison Archer Nickname: Gabby, Brie Gender: Female Blood Type: Half Nationality: American, British Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthdate: June 5 Age: 29 Pet: Pixie (Great Grey Owl) and Hugo (dachshund) Known Parents: Alexandria Walker (deceased) and Charles Archer Known Siblings: Alexander Archer (21) and Ried Walker (17)
Appearance Gabrielle is slightly taller than average, standing around five foot eight. She has a feminine but athletic build, from a few years of Quidditch followed by cheerleading. She has dirty blond hair that falls midway down her back that varies from straight to wavy depending on the day and grayish brown eyes. Gabby tries to keep up with the style icons. However, she goes about it her own way.
PB: Ali Larter
Personality Never has Gabrielle ever been selfish, even as a small child. If her brothers wanted something, she’d let them have it even if she wanted it. She didn’t mind. Other people’s happiness was always more important than her own and she is still like this to this day. Even though the girl hasn’t ever been selfish, she has been vain. She loves herself, and thinks she is great. It isn’t obvious that she feels this way, because she wouldn’t want people to feel that she thought she was better than them. She doesn’t, but she does hold a high opinion of herself.
Gabrielle has always loved a good joke. She loves to laugh and have a good time, and has a great sense of humor. She loves making people laugh, too, since smiles are contagious. She has an amazing sense of right and wrong, and was this way even as a small child. She’s very moral and always does what is right. She’s a bit of a goody-two-shoes this way, but she doesn’t mind. She doesn’t tell other people what is right and wrong, instead she lets them do the decision-making on their own.
Gabrielle loves children, which she’s sure is due to the fact she’s the oldest sibling. She hopes to have some of her own one day. But she’s always empathetic towards them and loves seeing them laugh and flourish. It’s her favorite part about life: they’re so carefree and loveable and she strives to be just that.
One of her greatest traits is probably that Gabrielle loves helping people. She’s a great listener and will listen and try to help out anyone. She’s a giver of free hugs and free smiles, too. Anyone would be able to come to her in confidence knowing that she wouldn’t ever tell a soul what they had told her. However she’s extremely open about herself and very outgoing.
History Gabrielle was born in a small town in rural England and the first child to Alexandria and Charles. Alexandria was a half-blood seamstress from America who moved to England to get closer to the wizarding community. Charles was a muggle lawyer working in London who just so happened to be in the right place in the right time when it came to meeting Alex. Despite the obvious differences between the two, Alex was quick to get into a relationship, especially with Charles being the first person she’d really gotten to known since she’d moved. After a brief year together, the two were married in their own quaint house and expecting their first child.
Having a child proved to be more difficult than either Alex or Charles had expected, which put off plans of having any additional for quite a few years. It was obvious during Gabrielle’s toddler years that she was a witch, something that took Charles a while to get used to. However once the couple learned how to balance their new life, it didn’t take long before they decided they were ready for another child. A second child didn’t come easy though. It wasn’t until seven years after Gabrielle was born than Alexandria was again expecting another child, Alexander.
Gabrielle was a great help to her parents when her first brother was born. She became very responsible and filled in whenever they were busy or at work. The two grew close and Gabby hated the thought of having to leave behind her family when it was time to start school. Hogwarts was going to separate her from her family, much more than the muggle primary school had been. But regardless, she looked forward to the opportunity.
Diagon Alley was a shock for the small family. Everything seemed new and different to them. Gabrielle was in awe, and her parents bought her everything she needed and then some including a Great Grey Owl named Pixie. It was this small and simple trip that changed Gabrielle’s outlook on shipping off to school. She wanted to learn more about the wizarding world, more than just what her mother could tell her. School now seemed exciting.
Upon arrival at Hogwarts, Gabrielle was sorted into Hufflepuff House. She didn’t think there was anything wrong with it, but those in the Slytherin house seemed to think so and she never understood why. It was just a house. Needless to say she made a lot of friends and was always everyone’s shoulder to cry on. She was definitely one of the more outgoing and social Hufflepuffs at the time.
With her first year complete, Gabby returned home to her family for the summer, delighted when she heard the news she had another brother on the way. She was disappointed that she wouldn’t be around when he was born or to lend a helping hand. Her family was important to her. Ried was born a week into September, during the start of Gabrielle’s second year.
The three children were as different as night and day, for three, anyway. Ried was very smart and would take things apart and put them back together. Gabrielle was the empathetic one, feeling bad for bugs when her brothers would squish them beneath their shoes and being the “mini-mom.” Alexander was the brawn of the bunch, he preferred wrestling out in their yard to being inside and coloring pictures or reading books.
It didn’t take long for Gabrielle to realize she had a love for Quidditch. It was the one thing that kept her sane and calm through her parents’ divorce fourth year. Alexandria and Charles knew for a year or so the end of their marriage was in sight, but kept it quiet from their children. Alexandria had plans to return home to her family in America with her sons, begging for Charles to keep Gabrielle despite the fact she knew the girl wouldn’t have it any other way. Gabrielle would have chosen on her own stay, even if it meant leaving her brothers.
Gabrielle began playing Quidditch her fifth year, becoming a keeper for the Hufflepuff team and later on the captain as well. The sport helped her take out her frustrations, gave her a different social group and even a small plan for her future after graduation. She knew she couldn’t play the sport forever but she was going to try anyways.
She looked forward to the breaks between terms. She would spend Christmas with her mother and brothers, the spring break with her father, and would split the summer between both. Missing so much of her brothers’ lives was hard for Gabrielle, but she was glad to see they were both happy. Both were attending muggle schools and had their own friends. Neither seemed too affected by the divorce and move. In fact, they almost seemed to be doing better than they were in England.
After graduation, Gabrielle became a reserve keeper for the English National Quidditch team. Granted it wasn’t first string, but she was glad to be playing for a team. Especially a team with such a strong following. She was quick to become friends with her fellow players, even dating a few. After a few paychecks, Gabrielle moved out of her father’s house and into her own apartment in Barnes. She focused more of her time and energy on Quidditch, showing up to practices early and staying late whenever she saw necessary. It paid off with in the year and soon she was playing first string. However, a few seasons later the injuries became too much for Gabby to handle and she reached an early retirement.
Gabrielle wasn’t ready to give up the sport yet and found herself becoming a cheerleader for the team instead. It kept her close to her friends and ex-teammates. The pay wasn’t quite the same, but it didn’t really matter.
At the age of twenty-eight, Gabrielle’s learned news that her mother had been murdered. Her youngest brother Ried had sent her a letter, alerting her not only of the tragedy but of his plans for the year as well. Gabrielle rushed to pack a bag and made her way to America for her mother’s funeral. She stayed with her brother as he finished his term before moving him back with her to England to live with their father. While she loved her brother dearly, she was grateful he wasn’t staying with her. She didn’t need him to see her in her weak state. She locked herself away and cried for days. She was close to her mother even though they lived so far away.
Gabrielle was quick to decide she was done with Quidditch at this point. She needed to something more meaningful with her life and she had to find out who did such a thing to her family. She quit her job with the team and took a trip to the Ministry. A few days later she was starting her training in the department of Magical Law Enforcement.
Roleplaying Sample Gabrielle entered the kitchen and sat down on one of the available chairs next to the table. Most of the chairs and even the table were stacked with books, trinkets and clothes she’d been too busy to put away. She looked over at the toaster and pulled out her wand, giving it a quick swish. Within moments two slices of bread popped out of the top. The toast was a perfect gold brown. She rose from her seat and walked to one of the cupboards, pulling out a plate before grabbing the two slices and returning to her chair.
Hearing a familiar sound, she turned her head only to spot her owl Pixie. “Where on earth have you been?” she laughed softly as the owl dropped a letter on her lap. Gabrielle gave it a slight pat on the head before offering it a small piece of her toast, which the owl happily took before departing. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten any sort of mail, Gabby thought as she focused on the letter, opening it carefully. She unfolded the parchment, instantly recognizing the handwriting to be that of her little brother Ried.
Dear Brie,
I am writing to tell you the tragic news. mum has passed. She has been murdered and our Ministry here is doing everything they can to find out who would have killed her and why. Her funeral is this Tuesday and Alexander and I would greatly appreciate if you would come. I’ll fill you on details whenever I see you next.
Love, Ried
The parchment dropped from Gabrielle’s hands no sooner than she had finished reading it. Her mother… murdered? How? Why? Her head was flooded with questions and concerns as tears came cascading down her cheeks. She had to go. No doubt in her mind she was going to drop everything. This was important.
