SPECIAL ABILITIES APPLICATION

Rules for having an ability:
1. You must use your ability if you wish to keep it.
2. You may only have one special ability per character. The exceptions will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
3. We expect at least a paragraph in your character’s history describing how he/she got the ability and how it’s affected their life.
4. If you are applying to be an Animagus, please specify your character’s animal form and whether they are registered with the Ministry of Magic.
5. Please read the Special Abilities Rules before applying.

Roleplay Sample: Evalina ran up the stairs toward the Ravenclaw common room. She needed to work on her homework for Professor McGonagall. She stopped momentarily to pull her long, dark brown hair into a ponytail. She looked in the oddly placed mirror that was in front of her, briefly checking to make sure that none of her features had changed since morning. Her face appeared normal and her eyes still a bright shade of blue. Eva flashed a brief smile, glad that she’d finally seemed to be getting a handle on things, before continuing her run to her dorm. As she rounded the corner she ran into a wall that she quickly discovered was actually a body. A pair of arms steadied her as she looked up. Of all people to run into, she had to pick a Slytherin. She knew her cheeks must have flushed since she watched her hair change to a light auburn. Eva apologized to the boy quickly as she watched his eyes widen in awe and confusion, before hurrying away.
