Like many of the activities here, this one is pretty simple. The creativity competition is something we used to do back when the site first started and we'd like to bring it back, especially now that we've got a stable member base.
Basically, throughout the duration of each contest we'll have some sort of theme. Everyone will then have the opportunity to create something based on that theme, be it graphics, stories, fan-art, drawings, videos, anything.
Based on the quantities of submissions, we'll either separate them based on type (stories, art, etc...) or keep them together. At the end of the contest, we'll open up voting on the submissions and whatever has the most votes will get house points or magic, we'll let you choose. In the event of a tie, Erin and I will act decide on first place. Winner will also get to choose the next theme if so they wish, otherwise Erin or myself will do so.

Please only submit things that are of your own creation, which I hope would go without saying. If you come across something that you think is really great, or something that goes with the theme you're more than welcome to tell us about it or post it in an appropriate board just as long as you don't claim someone else's work as yours.
You can submit as much as you like. Even if you've already sent us something, if you come up with another thing you'd like to submit by all means do so.
If you have any questions about anything, need help finding a particular resource (pictures, videos or whatever), just let us know and we'll see what we can do to help. Especially when a theme centers particularly around characters, we know that some models can be a bit hard to find things for and we'll be happy to help you out.
The themes will generally be geared towards doing something involving the site and our multitude of characters, but you're also welcome to send in submissions that don't include that as well, we love seeing what you can all do.
Sometimes there will only be one theme, other times if we think it'll work out well, there might be a second to go with it, it'll all depend on how many people participate in this and whether or not we get to a point where we can shorten the length. When we do two themes, that won't mean you have to incorporate them in to one piece either.
Current Competition length: 2 months (activity has been a bit rough and we'd like to give everyone plenty of time, especially starting off. If we get a ton of submissions we may cut it short.)
