Is anyone else super excited for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them?

I try not to think about it because I might die. Prisoner of Azkaban was on tv a few weeks ago and I had to shut it off because I couldn't stop getting way too excited. I blame having not watched any of them since Deathly Hallows part 2 came out.

I haven't felt up to it, like they all sit on my shelf next to the books and the special books and I just look at them go I'M NOT READY. And then get angry that we don't have a Marauders book or movie yet. Except if they do it'll have to have death eaters and you've ruined the Lestranges for me. They'd cast someone scary and I'd mentally be going like ....you cast them wrong and they're soooo not that evil.

I'd have a lot of issues with a marauders spin off at this point.

Like I want it, but I've got all these ideas in my head about how it was that having it canon would probably just irritate me. It would be them ruining the image I had of Sirius and Remus for me with their movie casting, I still haven't gotten over that

The casting for most of the adults was pretty awful.

I mean I can understand Remus and Sirius looking a little rough. Sirius did spend 12 years in Azkaban and two more on the run and Remus spend how many years by himself dealing with being a werewolf. But they were supposed to be 37 and their actors were over 50. Not that they weren't great actors but they weren't what I saw in my mind.
